Can anyone tell me what the Texas Republic cigarettes are equivalent to in the chemical brands of cigarettes?
They look like they are strong in flavor and might kick your butt....much like the Marlboro Reds. They don't have the chemicals - so they can't be harsh. Anyone??? |

Actually, The bull on the pack is misleading. Texas Republics are a very smooth cigarette. Texas Republic is a good substitute for Bensen & Hedges.
If you want strong, go for Buffalo Deluxe Cigarettes. I think this is kind of ironic because Buffalo is the cigarette that looks most like a B&H. The box is very elegant. |

Seneca Cayuga produces both Skydancer Cigarettes and Texas Republic Cigarettes. It is hard to say exactly which cigarette is more like Bensen & Hedges. Both of these are really close. If I had to pick one, I'd say Texas Republic Cigarettes is the better match. There are a lot of people like you who say that Skydancer Cigarettes is closer. I think the best bet for new Native Cigarette smokers is to buy a carton of each and test it. That's a little cheaper than buying a bunch of sample packs at $2.75 to $3.75 a pack.

Texas Republic I remember seeing those the last time I was in Black Hawk In Palm Springs. I haven't tried those yet but I will give them a try and get back to you!
