Default For smokers who want to learn about fire-safe cigarettes

http://firesafecigarettes.org/categoryL ... cigarettes

Me believes this is anotha site of an antismoking org. But this site does explain in detail what FSCs are...if you wanna botha reading some of their lies on FSCs like FSCs preventing fires by going out by themselves.

BS! FSCs don't always go out by themselves. Sometimes they keep burning in the ashtray. But when they DO go out, they a pain in the rear end to light up again. FSCs can even go out by themselves while you are holding the cig in your hand.

What most antis won't say about FSCs is those cigs have more chemicals in them than a "normal version" of a commercial cig. So if you a longtime smoker of Native brands and you think commercial cigs have too many chemicals in em, the commercial cigs just got worse with FSC chemicals added to em.

There's a huge difference in taste between, say a normal Marlboro Red and a FSC-version of a Marlboro Red. And the taste difference is VERY negative!

If I can find that forum where several Marlboro Red smokers expressed their displeasure in smoking FSC Reds, I'll post it on here to give new forum readers a betta idea on what otha smokers think of FSCs. Me bets a lotta people quit smoking thanks to the gross taste of the FSCs!

I'd ratha switch to Native cigs than to smoke FSC cigs or to quit smoking. Without cigs at all in my life, I wouldn't be Jay. I'd be a nobody.

Fire Safe Cigarettes - it is a difficult topic.

I registered a few Fire-Safe Cigarette websites for a future blog, but I never got around to informing myself about the topic.

There is, however, an extremely easy way to find out if fire-safe cigarettes are saving the children from the horrors of burning to death in an apartment fire. Compare the statistics of one year with fire-safe cigarettes against one year without fire-safe cigarettes. If the number of home fires and lost lives is significantly less, then the cigarettes will indeed seem to be preventing fires. If the numbers are about the same, then fire safe cigarettes are just another way to harass smokers.

As Steven Levitt (Freakonomics) says, people might lie, but the numbers do not. We'll find out the answer soon enough.

I do agree with those fed-up Marlboro smokers who said "Anyone who falls asleep with a lit cig, shouldn't be smoking period."

FSCs are meant to put an end to careless smoking. But the last time i checked, most smokers ain't careless with lit cigs, including myself. I neva go to bed with a lit cig...I ain't a dumb smoker, despite antis calling ALL smokers dumb.

Thank goodness the brands here will always be natural with no FSC additives (and no chemicals period actually) eitha.

Well, I must agree with Jay that anyone who fell asleep with lit cigarette in their hand shouldn't be smoking at all and they should know about it.

I myself never smoke inside the house and never light up a cigarette before bedtime, so I guess its better that way

People who fall asleep smoking have usually been drinking too. I bet that is the case most of the time. It is really the alcohol that is the problem; not the cigarettes.

Sure hope they don't spill the alcohol on them before falling asleep with the cigarette! Can you imagine the 3rd degree burns from that! Wouldn't be fun!

It's amazing. I consider that too many people die by smoking in their beds. I like this invention because you'll never get too dizzy to be burnt by cigarette.

I think you are right on that, I wonder what those statistics are or if they have ever studied that. Good point!

I don't need safe cigarettes. I'm very careful with my cigarettes.

Those new firesafe cigarettes are really not a substitute for taste. They have an awful smell. They give me a headache and i cough when I smoke them. I enjoy smoking and this is really taking away all the pleasure from it. Is there any petition or some legal entity that is against the "firesafe" cigarettes? I meen whats next? Knives that don't cut?

Is there a legal way to buy cigarettes from you guys? I will pay the extra tax for them but i cant be smoking these sticks any longer.

PS: i dont want to quit smoking and i wont allow anyone to say that my problem is smoking. Its my right and i will fight for it.

Good for you safety is always a smart way to go. I am always careful with my cigarettes as I believe just about everyone is. Especially now that they cost so much.
