If you are sleeping on water bed, you dont need to be worried about having to use fire safe cigarette ;P LOL

joking apart, I like to smoke when I am drinking, but I surely will not smoke once I went into my bedroom.

Exactly. My boyfriend and I used to live in an apt below a major raging alcoholic that used to black out all of the time. We'd here him hit the floor all of the time. He didn't pay his heating bill, so he used the fireplace instead. Scary as hell!!

Alcohol and tobacco go together. I am definitely not moralizing. Drinking alcohol can be fun if it is done in moderation. Unless a person is totally passed-out drunk, they won't usually fall asleep with a lit cigarette in their hand, catch on fire, fail to wake up and burn everyone up in their apartment building.

I do like the water bed idea. If some dumb ass falls asleep on a water bed with a flaming cigarette, it will just burn a hole in the mattress and they'll drowned all alone. Who is going to care about that?

Thanks, Edprobudi.

Half the laws of the land could be eliminated if people just used some common sense. Don't Sleep and Smoke. What could be easier.

Thumbs down

Well many people have told me that the fire safe cigs have made them feel sick. I can't believe that they are making these. Is it a ploy to make people not smoke? It's unbelievable. There are so many restrictions and taxes on smokers already. Now they are making people not enjoy the flavor of their usual cig or worse yet make some people feel ill.

Lightbulb Non-FSC (Fire Safe Cigarettes) Native Brands that Black Hawk Carries

Our own brand of Black Hawk cigarettes is the only non-FSC that we carry. While supplies last, we still have some Native All Natural brand cigarettes that are also non-FSC. These are not stale or old cigarettes. Recently, we ordered a large amount of these before they went FSC.

Please also note that we do not add chemicals, preservatives or flavorings to any of the tobacco used in our products. That's what we mean when we say that our cigarettes are chemical free.

Changes in Federal law now mandates that ALL tobacco companies use Fire-Safe Cigarette paper when producing cigarettes. Fire-Safe Cigarette paper is supposedly made up of a series of speed bumps (alterations in the thickness of the paper). The thicker paper prevents a cigarette from continuing to burn when left unattended.

Whether or not FSC paper is harmful or not has yet to be determined. The official statements put out by lawmakers is that FSC is safe.

Almost all cigarette brands in the United States now use Fire-Safe cigarette paper. For now, the Black Hawk cigarette brand is the only Native American brand not using FSC paper. However, we will eventually be required to follow the same standards as all other tobacco companies.

We don't like it either.
