Default What do Opal 120 Super Thin Cigarettes taste like?

Are you an Opal 120 Cigarette smoker? If yes, maybe you can help us answer the question we get asked most often. What do Opal 120 cigarettes taste like? Since every smoker is a little different, this is often a hard question to answer. Nevertheless, if enough people answer, we might be able to get a general idea which brand Opal 120 is compared to by most of our customers.

For this post, we would like to know what our customers think about Opal 120 Cigarettes Full Flavor? If you have an opinion, please let us know.

Default Virginia Slims, Misty Cigarettes, 120 Cigarettes, Opal 120s

Most of our customers compare Opal 120s to Virginia Slims and Misty. Opal 120s cost $26 a carton or $3 a pack at the Black Hawk Tobacco Shop. They are not the most expensive brand that we carry; and even though the price is a higher than what we used to charge, we still have a hard time keeping this brand in stock.

If you are one of our customers and smoke Opal 120s / Seneca 120s, please tell us what you think of them, what you smoked before you found Opals/Senecas and if you would ever go back to your old brand.

After smoking Max 120's for almost 20 years, with the occasional Marlboro reds 100's, I switched to Opal f/f 120's in April. I would compare the taste to Virginia Slims, which was my brand before Max, and which my sister still smokes. For a couple of days, even though the taste was superior, and even though I appreciated how it burned just a bit slower than Max or VS, I felt like I was missing something afterwards. This soon went away, but I truly believe that I was having withdrawal from all the additives that big tobacco likes to put in their cigarettes. Which proves my theory, there's a lot more going into cigarettes than nicotine to keep us hooked. Anyway, for the first time in many years, the pleasure of smoking is back. I'm no longer smoking simplty becuase I have to or need to, but I find myself enjoying it more and more. Which really should be the reason why we smoke, shouldn't it?

Default Smoking for fun, Again!!

You were having withdrawls. People tell us this all the time. Opals, which are made buy Grand Rapid Enterprise (the makers of Seneca), are totally additive free. People who switch from a different brand miss the chemical cocktail high of the commercial brands, and feel it. It takes a few weeks to get off the chemicals. After smoking quality Native American tobacco for about a month, the commercial cigarettes start to become unbearable. Several of our customers have said that when trying their former brand again, they feel nauseated.

When smoking Native Tobacco a person smokes when they want to, not when they have to smoke. That's a big difference.

Chemicals to enhance nicotin addiction should be removed from all commercial brands. They've only been added to increase profits. I think that the practice should end immediately.

I'm not to the point of feeling nauseated when I try old brands, but I definately don't enjoy them like I used to. You're so right about the withdrawal thing, but it did pass. I'm also noticing I'm smoking more now (as a reason) because I enjoy it, and not as much as because I have to, or because cravings are calling. As far as quantity is concerned, I'm also smoking a lot less, in fact, at 44, I'm now smoking less than I've smoked since I was in my late teens.

I can't seem to bear the taste of my old brand anymore. Let alone I don't like the GD feeling left in my body wheneva I DO smoke a Newport. I neva thought I'd ever say this. But even smoking a Native non-menthol tastes a lot betta and tastes like I'm smoking actual tobacco compared to Newports.

Yup. BT adds chemicals (and now FSC chemicals) to keep you hooked to their particular brand, and not just "hooked" on smoking.

But I do notice ever since I've been smoking mainly Natives over the past week, I'm still smoking close to a pack per day...I actually used to smoke 1.5 packs per day on Newports.

But what I actually meant to say on the "notice" part is I can go as long as 5 hours before lighting up a cig. When I was smoking Newports, I can't go longa than 2 hours without lighting up.

I dunno if it's coincidence, but seems like my body's hygiene has changed a lil bit ever since I started smoking Natives more.

My goal for the new year is to smoke Native brands for good. And based on the way I end up feeling when I try smoking a Newport now, I think I can reach that goal easily.

I guess to stick to the topic of this brand, Opal Menthols are the ones "on deck" for me, as far as the next brand I wanna try. Yes, I've smoked VS and Max before (but not Misty or Capri). I'm looking forward to trying a Native version of a 120 for a change.

If a guy smoking 120s ain't a good idea, then all I can say is whateva! A cig is a cig to me, regardless of its length. I even rememba seeing a guy smoke VS Regular 120s in public once when I was in college 10 years ago. He was a professor.

Chantix is one of those FDA approved drugs which can be used to get over smoking habit. It works on body by giving you the same feel good effect like smoking and hence reduces the craving for nicotine. You can have all the information on chantix here [Link Deleted]! This medicine should only be used in accordance with the instructions of a physician as there are various side effects which may vary from person to person and it includes change of taste, sleeplessness and many more. I have smoked for more than 10 yrs, but now I am spending a smoke free life from last 2 months. Thanks to chantix. Along with having this medicine, you should also have will power and feeling that you want to get over this habit.

BS! Don't put another drug link on my site!

Chantix is dangerous because it makes some people want to kill themselves. On the official Chantix site, they won't even list all the side-effects.

Here's what Chantix.com, the official website, does say about the product:
Quote:
Some patients have reported changes in behavior, agitation, depressed mood, suicidal thoughts or actions when attempting to quit smoking while taking CHANTIX or after stopping CHANTIX. If either you, your family, or caregiver notice agitation, depressed mood, or changes in behavior that are not typical for you, or if you develop suicidal thoughts or actions, stop taking CHANTIX and call your doctor right away.
Sure, it could help you stop. You can't very well smoke after you kill yourself, can you?

Default Great brand

I LOVE THEM!!!! They are one of my favorite cigarettes to smoke, they are not as thin as the Virgina slims but not as wide as a regular cigarette which makes them just right! I didn't really notice them until about my fifth time coming to Black Hawk and i asked about them, once again I got a sample and really liked them.....Plus I get longer smoke breaks at my job, that's always good!
